Friends' of the Adelaide Festival Since its inception in 1960, the biennial Adelaide Festival has grown to become an internationally acclaimed arts event with an impressive reputation for artistic leadership. Every second March, South Australians greet thousands of visitors from around the world for a unique cultural experience in Adelaide - the perfect festival city. This growth and success is not possible without the loyal commitment of the Festival’s corporate partners, donors and volunteers who make a direct investment in Australia's arts community, its audiences and the social, economic and cultural well-being of the state. There are a number of ways for you to become involved and to contribute to a bright future for the Adelaide Festival of Arts.
